Two licences you buy once, and one you pay monthly
Buying it once means buying it once. The version you paid for keeps working for as long as your computer does, and there is no feature that quietly stops if you stop paying, because you are not paying.
The three licences
The application is identical in all three. What changes is the offcut library, grain matching, and how many machines it runs on.
In US dollars. Tax added at checkout where it applies.
One person, one machine, one place. Everything you need to lay out a job and print a diagram.
- Unlimited parts and sheets in a job
- Kerf, trim and grain direction
- Sheets and lengths, both
- Saved templates
- Printed diagrams and PDF export
- Metric and imperial, including fractional inches
- Installed on two machines you own

Shops with several machines and more than one person cutting. Billed monthly, cancel whenever you like.

- Shared offcut library across machines
- One invoice, not eight
- Named person to email, not a queue

Trying it, and changing your mind
Everything about getting hold of it and getting your money back, in one place.
Fourteen day trial
Email us and say what you cut. We send a trial key back the same working day, usually within a couple of hours. It is the full application with nothing switched off.
There is no card taken up front and nothing converts automatically at the end of it. If it is not right for you, we would rather you told us why.
Refunds
Thirty days from the date you bought it. Email us and we refund it in full. You do not have to give a reason and we will not send you a form.
On the monthly team licence, cancel whenever you like and it stops at the end of the month you have paid for. We do not bill a month in hand.
Updates
Point releases within the version you bought are free and always have been. Anyone on 4.0 has had 4.2 and 4.4 at no cost.
A whole number version, so 4.0 to 5.0, is a paid upgrade at about half the licence price. There have been three of those in thirteen years. See the changelog.
What the difference actually is
Line by line, so you can see exactly what the extra seventy dollars buys and whether you need it.
| Feature | Single | Pro | Team |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sheet and length layouts | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Kerf, trim, grain direction | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Printed diagrams and PDF | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Saved templates | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Offcut library | No | Yes | Yes, shared |
| Grain matching across parts | No | Yes | Yes |
| Parts list CSV export | No | Yes | Yes |
| Machines | 2 | 3 | up to 8 |
| Shared settings across machines | No | No | Yes |
| Free point releases | Yes | Yes | Yes |
If you are not sure which one you need, buy the single workshop licence. If you later want the offcut library, email us and we will take the 79 dollars off the pro price. That is not a promotion, it is just the sensible thing to do.
How buying actually works
Email us and say which licence you want and who the invoice should be made out to. We send an invoice, you pay it by card or transfer, and the licence key comes back by email, usually within a working day and often within an hour.
There is no account to create, no password to forget and nothing to log into. The key goes in once, on each machine, and that is the end of the transaction.
If you need a purchase order raised, a supplier form filled in, or a VAT invoice for a school or a college, say so in the first email and we will do it. The school workshop in the examples went through exactly that process.
Moving a licence to a new machine
Deactivate it on the old machine, which gives you a short release code. Email us the code and we free the slot, usually the same working day. If the old machine is dead, stolen or in a skip, just say so. We do not charge for this and we will not ask you to prove anything.
